CONTROLS & RESILIENCE
Trust built upon verifiable engineering.
Comprehensive frameworks for institutional compliance, cryptographic hardware security, automated transaction screening, and mission-critical high availability.
Governance & control frameworks
Institutional financial infrastructure demands an auditable, multi-layered control environment. Our architecture blueprints align with recognized global security standards including SOC 2 Type II trust service criteria, ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Systems, and PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processing requirements.
Control implementation emphasizes policy-as-code and automated evidence collection. Every system configuration, identity modification, and API entitlement update is tracked via immutable audit trails, ensuring continuous compliance rather than retrospective point-in-time attestations.
Cryptographic custody & HSM isolation
Private signing keys, settlement credentials, and ledger database encryption keys must never reside in plaintext system memory. We specify Hardware Security Module (HSM) deployment models certified to FIPS 140-2/3 Level 3.
Key ceremonies enforce M-of-N quorum authorization for root key generation and rotation. In production, transaction message signing is executed directly inside the HSM perimeter, while data at rest is protected via AES-256 envelope encryption backed by secure cloud server hosting.
Automated AML & sanctions screening
Real-time payment pipelines must incorporate deterministic compliance checkpoints before instruction routing. Inbound and outbound payment payloads undergo automated screening against OFAC, EU, UN, and regional sanctions lists, coupled with fuzzy matching algorithms to detect structured name permutations.
Transaction monitoring algorithms analyze velocity anomalies, threshold structuring, and geographic corridor risk. Verified policy exceptions are routed to dedicated human compliance queues without exposing sensitive customer identity data across general operations desks.
Our frameworks interface with standardized transaction verification protocols to validate message integrity and non-repudiation across correspondent handoffs.
Operational resilience & zero-RPO disaster recovery
For financial ledger systems, data loss is catastrophic. We design architectures targeting a Recovery Point Objective of zero (RPO = 0) and a Recovery Time Objective of under 60 seconds (RTO < 60s).
Achieving these targets requires synchronous multi-availability zone database clustering, consensus-driven state machines, and decoupled read replicas. Unannounced chaos engineering drills simulate region cutoffs, disk array corruptions, and network splits to verify automated failover and reconciliation integrity.
